What is Botnet?

As its name suggests, it’s a bot’s net. In other words, devices that are illegitimately infected with Trojans and remotely controlled by a cybercriminal. 

Using these devices, criminals can carry out malicious actions such as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks or mass spamming campaigns.
